Tarleton State University’s Corps of Cadets is resurrecting the University Retreat Ceremony to pay tribute to the nation, the U.S. flag and military veterans. The ceremony takes place at 5 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every month in the center of the campus in front of the Howell Education Building. Ceremonies are set for Jan. 24, Feb. 21, March 21 and April 18.
The Corps of Cadets will be in formation along Military Drive today at 5 p.m., while a trumpeter, from Tarleton’s Department of Fine Arts will perform during the Retreat Ceremony. A firing of the cannon also will take place.
