Retail gasoline prices across Texas are up a penny this week, for an average of $2.04 per gallon, according to AAA of Texas. The result was reported Thursday, compared with a 2-cent decline in nationwide gasoline prices, which averaged $2.23 per gallon.
The travelers association survey found Corpus Christi had the cheapest gasoline in Texas at $1.96 per gallon last week, while drivers in Texarkana averaged $2.07 per gallon.
Dallas and Fort Worth each reported average prices at $2.06 per gallon.
AAA experts say gasoline prices continue to wobble as parts of the country impacted by Hurricane Matthew work to replenish supplies.
