With the status of DACA “Dreamers” in the headlines, immigration is the timely focus for Tarleton State University’s annual observance of Constitution Day on Monday, September 18th. Huyen Pham, dean of the Texas A&M School of Law and recognized immigration expert, will discuss “The Unique and Ordinary Constitutional Status of Immigrants” at 4 p.m. in Room 204 of the Business Administration Building in Stephenville. Constitution Day was signed into law in 2004 by President George W. Bush and commemorates the signing of the U.S. Constitution, which recognizes all who have become citizens, whether by birth or naturalization.
