Tarleton State University launches a new transportation option today for students commuting between off-campus apartments and the TSU campus.
Today, the university’s free shuttle bus returns to serve The Grove and Mustang Ranch apartments, and the shuttle bus stop adjacent to the tennis courts and Traditions South on West Sloan Street.
TSU, in cooperation with Central Texas Rural Transit District, hopes of reduce the number of vehicles on campus, while encouraging public transportation for students.
It’s free of charge to all passengers, and the bus is equipped with a bicycle rack.
Two shuttles will be in service Monday through Thursday during peak hours, with one shuttle bus on Fridays.
The shuttles are equipped with GPS-enabled Ride Systems tracking.
