The Stephenville Economic Development Foundation annual meeting was held at noon Monday at The N at Hard Way Ranch Event Center. STEDCO president Justin Haschke said the group has done a number of things this year to move STEDCO forward, including an agreement with SEDA and the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce. Assistant Texas Ag Commissioner Dan Hunter was the guest speaker, and told the group that their are many opportunities for grants through the state and federal Government. Tarleton State University’s Jana Burch also spoke on how STEM programs can benefit local economies. STEDCO invites residents and businesses to join their organization and help grow the local economy.
