The new executive director of the Stephenville Economic Development Authority hit the ground running and officially began his duties the day after he was appointed, according to SEDA secretary Shelby Slawson.
John Hubbard is working remotely right now as he prepares to move to town. He’ll reportedly be at the next SEDA board meeting on Thursday at 11:30 in the City Hall Training Room, to deliver a director’s update. His office is at 198 South Belknap Street.
Hubbard served five years as executive director of the Balch Springs Economic Development Corporation, where he was involved in the completion of over 75 successful projects, creating over 950 jobs.
