Tarleton State University’s second Day of Giving kicks off just after midnight on Tuesday, April 4, challenging participants to pay it forward for students. The Day of Giving is part of a full week of activities dedicated to the university’s core value of public service, which kicks off Saturday, April 1, when students, faculty and staff help local residents with everything from washing windows to mowing lawns with the now-legendary service event known as Tarleton’s Round Up. On Thursday, April 6, students will turn classroom learning into opportunities to aid others as part of Tarleton’s Service Day.
