KSTV is THE advertising medium of the North Central Texas area covering Erath County, and reaching Comanche, Somervell, Hamilton, Hood, and Eastland counties. KSTV is the Heritage Station, having served Erath County for over 60 years with a consistent approach to local involvement and local partnerships. KSTV is tied into the community through public service announcements, regular studio guests (eg. Erath Co. Sheriff, Stephenville Police Chief, Stephenville Chamber of Commerce President, area church leaders, National Weather Service representatives) and participation and sponsorship of community events.

Our music mix features Nashville Artists and Texas Artists, combined to offer

the newer and older generations of country songs and artists. The result is a format that reaches more listeners everyday!

What's New on the air?

On May 31, 2004 KSTV sponsored a Christian Youth Concert. By teaming up with area churches, KSTV was able to bring the OC Supertones, a nationally renowned Christian youth band to Stephenville for a special Memorial Day concert. (see pictures on our photo page)
In 2004 KSTV gave away a trip for two to Cancun, to accompany Dallas Cowboy's TE Dan Campbell for a special golf trip getaway.
During Q2 and Q3 in '04, KSTV give away over $60,000 worth of concert tickets (eg. Pat Green, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson and others) resort passes (eg. Sea World, Six Flags, Hurricane Harbor and Schlitterbahn), movie tickets, animal attractions tickets (eg Ft Worth Zoo and Fossil Rim), Mesquite Rodeo tickets, Texas Motor Speedway tickets and passes to The Promise in Glen Rose.
In '04, KSTV gave over $7,000 in cash to the Stephenville Independent School District towards the general fund. It's part of KSTV's commitment to give back to the local community.
In Jan. '05, KSTV spent over $2000 at the county's Jr. Livestock Show. KSTV purchased the Reserve Grand Champion Lamb, and made a contribution to the Local Dairyman's Buyers Pool.
In Q1-05, KSTV teamed up with spouses of the 86 National Guard members from the local battalion that were deployed to Iraq. Through a series of live broadcasts in the community, we raised a huge shipment of supplies that were needed by these men and women as they served overseas.
At the beginning of the '05 Fall Semester, KSTV began a new Thursday program called "Tarleton Thursdays". This all day feature targets Tarleton State University students, faculty and staff. With an enrollment of roughly 8,000 students at the Stephenville campus, KSTV is providing a programming vehicle to reach this important local demographic
In Q4-05, KSTV gave away a $12,000 Fantasy Kitchen Makeover to Pat Koonce of De Leon. This prize package included a complete remodeling of Pat's kitchen thanks to great sponsors like Gifford TV and Electronics, Danny's House of Carpets, The Home Place at ACE, S&S Painting, McCoy's Building Supply Center and Coca Cola.
