Today, the Stephenville Public Library, along with Texas Legal Services Center and Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, are offering the “Rural Clinics Pilot Project”, thanks to the Texas Bar Foundation. The project has been launched to help residents in rural Texas get free legal assistance on a variety of civil matters including divorce, custody, child support, eviction, foreclosure, debt collection and more.
Stephenville residents will be able to get free, face-to-face legal advice from a licensed attorney over video chat on the Internet. Call 817-339-5320 for an appointment between 1 and 4 p.m. at the library.
