Former candidate for Erath County constable and local veterinarian, 60-year-old Joseph Yasinosky and his 59-year-old wife Freddi were arrested for possession of marijuana this week after a suspicious package led law enforcement officials to the couple’s home.
Testing determined that the substance was indeed marijuana, after a search warrant was obtained for the address stamped on the package off County Rd. 476.
Authorities said they arranged for the delivery of the package and obtained a search warrant for the residence. When it was delivered, the warrant was executed.
Numerous medications were found inside the home not in their proper prescription bottles. They were arrested and booked into the Erath County Jail on $1,500 bond each.
