Erath County Deputy Sherriff Jason Upshaw told KSTV News that as of 4pm Tuesday, about a dozen county roads were closed because of flooding. Many of those roads reain closed today.
Most of the major roads that were closed at one time or another yesterday are reportedly open, including Highway 281, Interstate 20 in both directions,108 and Highway 377.
The National Weather Service issued Flood Warnings for the areas of North Bosque River At Hico, affecting Erath and Hamilton Counties. Flood waters are expected to crest at 24-25 feet at Hico.
