At the first Erath County Commissioners Court meeting of 2017 Monday morning they got right down to business. Commissioners approved the preliminary plan for Crockett Creek Estates, allowing developer Trent Gay to proceed with the project.
In November, commissioners and County Judge Tab Thompson held a preliminary meeting with Gay to hear his ideas for the proposed 11-lot development on Hwy. 205 about a mile past Rocky Point Church.
In that meeting, Gay explained his plans for Crockett Creek, consisting of seven ten-acre lots and four five-acre lots, and plans are for single-family homes in the 1,800 square foot range.
Gay’s preliminary plans were presented and formally approved on Monday.
