Tarleton State University’s Move-In Experience begins today at 3 p.m., with the last reporting time for the Class of 2020 beginning at noon on Sunday.
Back-to-school weekend welcomes some 2,100 freshmen—the largest first-year class in Tarleton history– to the Stephenville campus.
Expect the ritual of cars and trucks full of everything from pillows and printers to table lamps and towels.
Volunteers will keep traffic moving along streets adjacent to the university and direct students to staging areas or residence halls. To help minimize traffic congestion, all freshmen have received a Move-In Guide with specific reporting times and locations.
About 2,000 volunteers from more than 40 groups and student organizations will participate.
