On this, the 16th anniversary of the day that changed America, the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance is, once again, working to mobilize more Americans to engage in service activities that meet community needs and honor the sacrifice of those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001, as well as those who rose in service as a result of that tragedy. Volunteers come together locally to improve the historically significant American Legion Post 240 in Stephenville by refurbishing some interior rooms and providing beautification of the south entrance to the building.
